The Village Columbiaville

The Village of Columbiaville is located in Marathon Township, Lapeer County between M-24 and M-15; and has a population of 777. Our small community hosts many events, year round, including the annual Columbiaville Days Festival, Chili Cook Off, Polar Plunge and much more. We are a close-knit community, drawn together by social and family ties, with devoted residents, beautiful scenic views and a great history. Truly making it a ‘nice place to have roots’.

The Village of Otisville

The Village of Otisville is located in Forest Township at the northeast corner of Genesee County on the M-15 Heritage Route; The Village of Otisville offers its residents the quaint charm of small town living in today’s hurried environment. Commuters enjoy easy access to major interstates leading to Metro Flint and surrounding counties.

The Village of Otter Lake

The Village of Otter Lake is located just east of M-15; The village is situated in both Forest Township and Marathon Township. Residents of Otter Lake enjoy the beautiful all sports lake for fishing, boating, scuba diving, and swimming. There is also a clean sandy beach with a children’s playground and a boat launch. Visitors may enjoy a weekend stay at the Otter Lake Campground located near the lake.

The Forest Township

Forest Township is located in the north east corner of Genesee County, Michigan. The 2009 population of the township is 4,748.

The Marathon Township

Marathon Township is a civil township of Lapeer County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 4,701 at the 2000 census.
